"A sensational offering of a younger rye blended with a much older rye made from both rye and barley malt mashbill (53% rye and 37% corn) this is a sweet, smoky, spicy, flamboyant whiskey that is full, rich and intense, but not the least bit harsh. Just about everything I have tasted from High West in Park City, Utah is impressive." 94 Points, Wine Advocate 94 Points, 2024 Sunset International Spirits Competition
Marriage of two straight rye whiskies that combines the feisty properties of a high rye 2-year-old and the saddle smooth richness of a 16-year-old. The 2-year-old has a 95% rye 5% barley malt mashbill. The older rye has a "barely legal" rye mashbill of 53% rye and 37% corn. The extra age and corn provides some extra sweetness to calm the "bite" of the younger rye for a relationship that works.

This blend of straight rye whiskeys has a light amber hue and a scent redolent of brown sugar and baked apple, plus a fleeting sarsaparilla note. Most of the allspice and oak flavor comes through on the long finish. At 92 proof, this rye feels relatively hot; mix into Sazeracs and other cocktails.
