"Mandarin orange blossoms are incredibly fragrant and provide a delicate intensity that suggests the experience of peeling a fresh mandarin. We fell in love with the aroma of California's mandarin orange trees, but when we tried distilling the fruit, the acids in the juice wouldn't cooperate. After plenty of late nights tinkering around in our hangar, we decided: let's try the flowers instead!
